Polymer Cement Mortar
MULTIPURPOSE CEMENTITIOUS MATERIAL
- ANTI-CORROSION COATING for STEEL (40 yrs limited waranty)
- CONCRETE/MASONRY REPAIR & ADHESIVE
- REINFORCEMENT/SEISMIC RETROFIT for STRUCTURE
MagneLine is a Polymer Cement Mortar (PCM), an inorganic cementitious material that can be used on metal or concrete surfaces. It solidifies by air drying to a very strong but flexible cement. MagneLine is produced by Magne Corporation in Japan, it has been on the market for over 30 years, and been used on over 400 bridges. PCM has been very popular in Japan, however, it is still new in the U.S.
ANTI-CORROSION COATING
MagneLine is resistant to water / salt / Oxigen penetration and UV and other outside environment. It has also high adhesive strength yet it is elastic and streatches without cracking. MagneLine can be sprayed on any steel surface to protect it from corrosion and rust. Its cement component makes the coated area alcaline forming a long lasting protective layer over the metal. MagneLine has been used on over 70 bridges for anti-corrosion coating with the longest one (see below), near the ocean, being lasting almost 20 years with single application without any additional reapplication. Color pigment can be added to desired color or can be painted over.
